About the Committee
The USS Stockdale's Commissioning Committee is a group of volunteers from the private sector and from the Navy. Its mission is to build support
and marshal resources in support of the ships commissioning and related events from the citizens of Santa Barbara and California.
The committee's goals:

Arrange and support Commissioning Week events that enhance the morale of the USS Stockdale
crew and their families

Raise funds to establish the USS Stockdale Foundation for the benefit of the first and future
crews of the ship

Coordinate efforts to direct community attention to the USS Stockdale and her mission
